the hotel was fitted out to a high standard and provided all the facilities that you would exspect from such a hotel. the dining facilities were excelant and fairly priced and the breakfast buffet was extensive providing both hot and cold dishes.overall a good stay.

great hotel but could have more things writing in english ( like the food in the resterant,staff, and more infomation leaflats about were you are staying and what there is too do there)alot of stuff is in german only.

the kurhaus is not what it used to be 20 years ago. upon arrival, we did not receive any information from the young lady at the front desk concerning services, facilities, parking, spa, breakfast, lounge or restaurant. our rooms were on the 4th floor accessed by seperate stairwells. the rooms were very spartan for a 4 star hotel with one small window for air circulation, no air conditioning. we inquired about different rooms that would allow my wife and i to be closer to our teenage daughters and were told that nothing was available. i monitored hotel and hall traffic through the evening, the hotel was not full. our daughters spent the night sleeping on the floor of our room, no visible hotel security. upon check-out the young lady refused to speak english, this is the same young lady that spoke english at check-in the day before. not the ending that we had desired for our 2 week vacation in europe. i have stayed many nights in far more comfortable family run german gasthaus´. you can find far better room value and accomodations at several 2 and 3 star hotels. end on a positive note, the bartender was an exceptional young man and a pleasure to meet.
