 overall good hotel to stay at. well positioned.  original room was too small, but happier with change of room  original room was small and just with a shower, but was allowed to change to a room with a bath and shower, the room was much larger in size for the same price, so happy with that. staff friendly. the swimming pool and spa area were nice to be in. breakfast was served quickly but fairly average in taste. position in town centre for all ammenitiesand the staff wers excelent the shower did not work but this did not spoil our stay absolutely nothing the bed. the breakfast. the breakfast staff. the breakfast was disgusting. the sheets gave me and my partner carpet like burns from just turning on them and the breakfast staff were rude. the bed was like sleeping on concrete. the fact that it was very close to where i needed to be and it had free car parking. i didnt have any hot water for 2 days and none of the staff offered me another room, knowing there was more rooms available.they kept on saying the problem was being delt with, but within my stay it was never sorted. it wasnt what i expected as the hotel was very dated and the floor boards where creaky, which was quite anoying. the bathroom was very clean and of a high standard the mattress on the bed could have been more comfortable,softer most enjoyable,all the staff were very wellcoming and friendly,the hotel clearly well looked after,and the breakfast,well plenty of choice available,superb! good, clean accommodation, great location, good facilities, friendly staff. nothing to moan about really. slightly tired decor in places.
