staff very eager to please and friendly lock on door was old and made it very difficult to open door from inside the room. we reported this on the saturday morning and it was not dealt with by the time we left on sunday morning but presumably they could get no locksmith on a weekend. very pleasant very clean and tidy staff very friendly we stayed on a saturday night and the noise outside was bad if i had known how bad it was on a saturday night i dont think i haved stayed i knowe this was not the hotel foult but it made big diffrence to night sleep the location was very good and the staff were very helpful. the rooms were very cold and the restaurant food was limited and not priced we would have liked to have known that there was a christmas party of old folk staying there over that weekend.everything was based and set around them and they took up all the attention and entertainment.the restaurant food was limited and no prices displayed we paid the same price for a pork meal and a ham salad overall we were very disappointed. close to the beach and main shopping centre. rooms were clean and tidy. it was very noisy, with car alarms, sirens, shouting etc, which didn't die down until 5am, as situated on a main road, so we didn't get much sleep!! the hotel was at the top of a steep hill. the rooms were very old fashionly decorated. the was a severe lack of parking and because of that we didn't move the car for fear of losing our space and we were blocked in. on top of a steep hill, so not suitable for all. for the price of the room, i would have expected more. hotel bien placé et calme, accueil excellent isolation phonique entre chambre faible, pb général dans les bb et hotels en grande bretagne confort et accueil bon, petit déjeuner aussi, bien situé près de la mer good, comfortable accommodation. hotel in good location no more than 5 minutes walk from the bic, handy for local restaurants and shops. staff were very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. excellent buffet breakfast with very good choice of hot and cold food. this hotel offers first-class value for money.
