 breakfast, service and comfort  the blind in room was broken and no plug in washbasin  we would stay here again as overall everything was to our satisfaction. we went to see elo in concert at the pavilion and it was a short walk away to the theatre and shops. convenient position for everything and very clean, modern but cosy no complaints this hotel suited us fine as we were visiting relatives close by, we were close to the town centre and beaches. for a one night stay we thought it was good value for money, extremely clean, modern yet cosy, the staff were helpful when asked anything, we would use this hotel again. we enjoyed our stay at the orchid hotel. i thought the hotel location was great and when we arrived it was lovely to look at. although the rooms were a little small they were clean and tidy and decorated very well. the staff were polite and very helpful and the atmosphere was nice. the price was extremley resonable and it is nice to see a decent hotel not trying to rip people off price wise! we would most definitely stay here again. the maids talking loudly in the mornings !! very comfortable, made to feel very welcome nothing i have stayed at this hotel before and therefore knew what to expect. the hotel still lived up to previous expectations. it had a bath which was nice.the room was a fair size. it was near to the town.parking was good. the king size bed was actually 2 single beds pushed together, very uncomfotable. no room service for food.quite noisy from triffic in room at front of hotel. maid unlocked door and walked in after we had shouted we were in, bad taste as we had locked the door on the inside. didn't feel at ease after that. i would have liked to have know that they don't do bar food. would have been nice to know that we weren't getting a proper double bed. sorry more effort required. add bar food on a list in rooms. never put two single beds togerher as one. tell maids to double check before unlocking rooms and going in. neat, very clean, spacy and well decolated in room. nothing special but a larger ref is needed for me. refrigerator,internet access to lan wireless and dinner menue.
