bathroom too small for two people to use together

smelly bed, dirt under washbasin rim, electric fault on lhs corner lamp, and being asked to pay for breakfast when our receipts clearly showed we had pre-paid for breakfast for both days - we were not concerned about the error but there was an intitial reaction that suggested that we - the client - had made the mistake - which is clearly not the way to proceed. we are mature and not easily annoyed so the incident was not a a problem for us but could easily have been for others. [a chap next to us at the desk was also larfgly doubted when he found that the two adjoining rooms he had booked were not provided - he had specialist needs and had clearly taken great care to book for these. on a silly/minor note the chairs in the dining room were put out randomly which rather mucked up the colour scheme. of greater concern was the fact that both our breakfast tables were really sticky - our elbos stuck to them - and yes we shouldn't rest our elbows on the table! they were being strayed and cursorily wiped but not actually cleaned so the the marmalade etc. was building up nicely...oh - and the safe in the room did not work either
