this was the best possible place we could'.ve stayed while in montreal! conveniently close to everything we wanted to see. we walked just about everywhere because this place is so centrally located to museums, bars, restaurants. staff was friendly and the rooms were very well kept. the only complaint might be that it could be a bit noisy, but that didn'.t bother us at all. would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone going to montreal to visit.

location was perfect for what we were looking for. close to a few bars and lots of restaurants and many small shops. when we arrived to check in no one was there. we had to call a number that was on the door and wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive. when they arrived we got put in a different room that was apartment like down a dark alley in the bottom of a warehouse. this room still housed water bottles ect from previous travellers. the second day we had to come back half way through the day to switch rooms to the one that we couldnt have in the first place due to plumbing issues. i had requested a pull out sofa since it was 2 of us that arent a couple and received no such thing either in room. the coffee pot was broken, no remote to the tv, and no sceen in the window was not impressive either but no one was there to say anything to. the reservation said breakfast was included in room and we received no such thing. as a matter of fact there was a sign on the back of our door that read that we had to pay each day and order the day before if we wanted breakfast. also no fitness room (unless you count the stairs). the rooms esthetically are fantastic, but it is very poorly managed. recommendation- cora'.s for breakfast , open til 3pm and on catherine. 3 amigos for mexican, huge portions great atmosphere, rue saint denis. le grill - the host with the most, very informative staff, old montreal

lovely and romantic place, good location near the latin quarter and few blocks from downtown. excellent and new room facilities.

this is a lovely small hotel in a great spot close to everything. it has character and charm. the price is competitive. it can be a bit noisy at night: close to pubs and clubs but not a major problem. very clean and helpful friendly staff.
