 comforatable bed. quiet  the room was too dark. use of hi speed internet via netwrk cable connection was very good, but wi-fi would have been better.room service meal was excellent it was very clean, staff were very friendly.everything seemed to run very smoothly. loved the room, so did children. the best bit was the pool, sauna and gym which was fabulous and so clean and well maintained.  only dislike was lack of drawer/cupboard space to put away kids stuff - had to keep in the case but wonderful apart from that small dislike! the hotel was really stylish, modern and spacious.parking was easy, plenty spaces. my children loved the hotel as did my brother and his wife who were also staying in another room. the breakfasts were good , tastyvalue for me as kids ate free, was a huge choice of breakfasts for us all to choose from. food at evening was really delicious, freshly cooked and beautifully presented as well. the staff were all very attentive and friendly, and nothing was any trouble and all seemed to run like clockwork.was a most enjoyable stay. bathroom, restaurant evening food very good and waitress good wardrobe space to small, toilet door needed maintenance, tired/dated appearance of public parts of hotel, breakfast quality disgusting, breakfast food was obviously re heated, breakfast tables and floor not clean. very modern rooms, loved the carpet in reception! lovely facilities, clean and good food in the restuarant. we drove down from edinbrugh and found it very easily, would definitely recommend it to anyone! pool was a little small & the sauna was out of order during our stay! nice room and facilities. the reception staff were ignorant. the double room was spacious enough for not just two but infact a family of two adults and two or three small children would have been comfortable, utilizing the sofa bed. it backed onto the very busy a1(m) and the double glazing did little to shut out the traffic noise,though in fairness after a couple of drinks it became tolerable. i would have liked to have known about the placement of my room prior to the completion of my booking in order that i could have changed the booking or requested a room of similar standard else where in the hotel with less noise pollution.
