i wish we could have stayed here longer! this was the most delightful b&.b/hotel experience we had in europe. the owner is so friendly and gracious, and was truly welcoming and helpful in pointing us in the right direction for buses, shopping, and dining. he even gave us invaluable information on how to get to monaco and the nice airport. our room was so wonderful - very spacious but still cozy, with a lovely terrace you could walk out onto. if we had been able to stay longer, i would have enjoyed the complimentary tea and coffee out there in the fresh mediterranean air. the bathroom was more than you could ask for. it was large with double sinks and a big shower, complete with fabulous shampoo and soaps (and slippers!) - purely rejuvenating. the room was quiet and the bed was really comfortable which allowed us to get a long overdue great night'.s sleep. on a side note, we were unable to catch breakfast because we had to leave so early in the morning, so i can'.t comment.the location is as described. down a quiet non-touristy street near the musee de beaux arts. if you mention that, a taxi driver should be able to get you there if not on the address alone. (fyi, it should cost about 12 euros from the train station.) the location is great - a safe area that'.s still within walking distance to the sea, shops, and restaurants. i highly recommend the villas les cygnes. i really would like to come back to nice just to stay here- it was a very calm and peaceful place. an excellent value and memorable experience.

excelente opcion en nice!! hotel no convencional con pocas habitaciones, es una casa centenaria ubicada en zona residencial de niza pero muy cercana al centro (20min caminando por el paseo maritimo) recomiendo este hotel por su ubicacion, calidad/precio y la amabilidad de la pareja que lo dirige. sin duda volveriamos a alojarnos alli si estuvieramos de nuevo en nice.

super schöne villa, neue renoviert, ruhig gelegen!, nahe am zentrum, nettes personal. sehr empfehlenswert.

excellent hotel. clean, spacious room with a big bathroom. owners are very helpful and always ready to make your stay more pleasant. very close to the beach and the downtown restaurants. i will definitively stay again here. two thumbs up! parking is included in price. loved it!

a family hotel, small. vey spacious, modern and clean rooms. parking right in front, quiet area but very close to the pormenade des anglais, supermarkets, walking distance to best places in nice.free wifi included, exellent service. no real common areas except for breakfast.

lovely hotel with beatifully decorated room. bathroom was great as picture shown in the website. location is a little far from centre but it'.s really a good quiet area. be prepared to do a little walk to the hotel from city centre. but a bus ride will only take 10 minutes with a short distance of walk. not much public areas in the hotel. there'.s a small garden for breakfast in summer but it'.s closed when we stayed there.
