 the location was great, near to every thing i wanted and close to the beach and harbour  apart from the beer garden that needed a tidy up every thing was fine  overall i was pleased with my stay, the staff were great, the restaurant manager was espesically good nothing was to much for him, one of the waitress was realy nice anna her name was.you could tell the night the manager was off one night as the service was not as good but still ok,the food was very good, the only thing i can say is the hotel was very warm i am glad our room had air con. staff are friendly and helpful fabulous view. one of the rooms overlooked the bins. the main bedroom was a good size. the balcony smelled of paint, the cane furniture was broken, the dried flowers dusty and the bathroom was not clean and smelled of sewage. the aircon did not work and the fan blew out dust when switched on. we booked three rooms. two were large rooms with balconies overlooking the sea and the third overlooked the bins! the rooms had not been thoroughly cleaned and were dusty in places, particularly in corners. there was only one set of towels in the bathroom although they were all twin rooms. we could not take one of the rooms because it smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. all in all, not a positive experience and one we would not repeat. we requested a nonsmoking room and were given a smoker which reeked to high heaven. if we had known we had to sleep in a room which smelled so badly of smoke we would have gone elsewhere, every thing else was perfect. my husband has had a tumour removed from a lung two years ago and is recommended to keep out of smoky atmospheres. very reasonable price and good location clean and comfy the food in the restaurant was superb - large portions and very friendly staff.
