ideally located, with friendly &. helpful staff and comfortable rooms. a hotel that i highly recommend !

what a beautiful hotel the artorius is! the 2 star rating on the venere web site must be a mistake - i'.d call it a 4 star. i stayed there two separate times, each for just one night as i was passing through rome. each time i reserved a single for 130 euros. the first time, i was in a double room, the second in a single. they were both listed as more than 130 euros (the double for a lot more), but i was charged exactly what i'.d reserved them for. the rooms are beautiful, with luxurious fabrics, gorgeous bathrooms, and the most solid and soundproof windows. i would have never believed i was in the middle of rome, it was so quiet. breakfast is served out in a small courtyard (behind the doors with the stained glass peacock shown on the web site) and has a good and plentiful selection. it'.s in a good safe area with plenty of restaruants and some interesting shops close by and is within reasonable walking distance of plenty of rome'.s grand sites. not too long of a walk from the cavour metro station, though you have to make several turns to get there - would be nice if they provided more specifics on the web. other than that, no complaints at all. the staff is very helpful. i left a ring in my room on my first stay and they had it there for me when i returned. i'.ll definitely return to rome and hope i can stay at the arorius the next time.

this was a charming small hotel with friendly, helpful staff. the rooms were comfortable, impeccably clean, wonderfully quiet and the patio was a great surprise. it offers a nice buffet breakfast, room has a mini-bar. it is centrally located, a 5 minute walk to the colosseum or the trevi fountain and the cavour train station. the street it is located on has a number of stores (groceries, hair salon, etc.) and a few good restaurants recommended by the staff. i would absolutely stay here again and recommend it without hesitation.

stayed four days.friendly and helpful staff especially alexander. location excellent would stay again and would recommend to friends.suggest that rooms could be brighter and have easy chairs.bathroom clean and well equipped- plenty of towels.beds comfortable and clean. breakfast good.used hotel safe.

it is the perfect hotel. the triple room was spacious ands super clean. every morning a cappicino was made for us and the breakfast wasvery good. espically the fresh pastry! we asked for a restaurant they would recommend and the owner took us right to the place! now, thats service. excellent location and quiet. the large deck from our room was a bonus.

i gave a score of '.10'. throughout, and i didn'.t do this lightly. the hotel artorius was a lovely place to stay. it'.s not a big hotel but the room we stayed in was very spacious (including the bathroom and shower cubicle) and spotlessly clean. maybe we didn'.t read the information properly before we went but we were very pleasantly surprised to have a spacious balcony too! all of the staff we came into contact with were very helpful and obliging. the breakfast was a standard continental selection of bread, cheese, meats with cereals and a good selection of pastries. the cappucino each morning was lovely although the standard coffee available for you to help yourself to was a bit ropey, and that is my only criticism. the hotel is in a great area with bars and restaurants close by and with easy access to all the sites. this was my fifth trip to rome but the first time i'.d stayed in the '.older'. part and it was well worth it. i would recommend this hotel to anyone.
