it was a beautiful place and the staff was very welcoming and generous. a little too pricey though.quite accomodating, we were heading off to capri before staying in sorrento, they allowed us to park our car there for a few days.highly recommended.

we booked a double room in this quiet family run bed &. breakfast in the coastal town of sorrento. we were given a room with a breathtaking view overlooking the bay of naples and mount vesuvius. on our arrival, we were offered a lemon juice made from fresh lemons picked from their orchard. the path leading up to the house was lined with lemon trees and other fruit trees, from which they also make their own marmalade. breakfast was one of the highlights. everything was home grown or local produce and the owner even baked two cakes (one savoury and one sweet) every morning. the rooms were spacious and spotless and nicely decorated. the only downside was the steep, winding road up the hill to the villa. although the villa was conveniently located, just a 5/10 min walk from the main street, the town centre was a bit further (20 min walk), but it was well worth staying there as it is halfway in between naples and pompeii and the amalfi coast. the hotel also offers parking facilities which can come in handy, specially in the busy summer months. staff were very friendly and helpful too and gave us indications and directions on how to reach the major sights. overall, we took home a very good impression and we would not hesitate just a bit in recommending this lovely place.

what an incredible view as you sit and eat a great breakfast looking at the sea. very friendly, great place for kids. staff very helpful. maria and guiseppi are great--ask for his homemade oj.

we stayed at villa oriana over easter 2007 and would highly recommend this beautiful villa. our hostess maria could not have been more friendly,helpful and welcoming. our room was spacious,immaculate and with beautiful views over the bay of naples and vesuvius. the breakfast was outstanding with homemade breads,cakes,marmalades from the villa´s own lemon & orange groves.the villa is a 10-15 walk from the town up a steepish hill,but well worth it for the spectacular views. we would certainly hope to return and would highly recommend villa oriana-it is one of our most memorable holidays.
