 it was immaculate, i did look for dust, dirt or mould because i did not believe that a guest house could be that clean - but i did not find any.  no sound proofing at all. i couls hear next door's tv clearly at 7am. the cleanliness and space of the room.  a very comfortable stay in a very tastefully decorated guesthouse, i do not think there was anything i needed to know as it was all stated on the web site. friendly, helpful & efficient staff. attention to detail. this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel, we were so pleased with our first visit two years ago that we vowed to go back again. we were not disappointed & are happy to say that the hotel continues to maintain its high standards. the hotel is a good 10 minute walk from the town centre, which we thought was ideal, but may not suit everybody but overall the accommodation remains first class. the stay at southbourne was a wonderful experience, i have stayed at 5 star hotels all over the world and i can honestl say the experience here was as good if not better. i will not hesitate in staying here again when i return to torquay. i really can't say enough about the facilities and friendliness of my stay, they couldn't have been more hospitable. good location - close to the town. hotel is very well run, room was spotless i can not reccomend this place enough - from the quality of the hotel, the rooms, the comfort of the bed, the fact that the tv has a dvd player and a freeview box as well to offer nore choice. the place is so well run, we were picked up from the railway station, offered a lift back, advised of great places to go and see and to eat out. i always believe that the service you receive when you go away can make or break the place but this was so well done. i even sent a thank you email to the owner, that is how impressed we were. it was clean and close to the faclities of the town because we were a young couple the owner seemed very patronising towards us, i wasnt fond of his attitude on one occasion Opiniónes 1 a 6 sobre 11 - pagina(s) 1 2
