 hi, please do not confused by ur map. it is actually very easy to find out. i made a mistake by misspell the hotel.it is highly recommanded to single traveller or early-getting up people. i left the hotel to florence. and i was so worried about whether i will miss the train. it take only 10 or 15 mins(depends on your walking speed)to the port(the earliest is around 6am, but i took the 6:55am one), and 45 mins on the lake(it may be walkable, but i did not try), and i got my train to the st lucais station(oops, forget the name, it is the one in the mainland) on time.. hotel bien charmant. calme, bien situé, chambre propre, bon rapport qualité/prix.parfait pour couple. j'.y ai emmené ma copine en lui faisant une surprise pour ses 25 ans je peux vous dire que ce weekend était génial!!venise est magique.. régalez vous et perdez vous dans ces ruelles si charmantes.. tout le monde y trouvera son bonheur.. inoubliable !! das hotel bietet eine gute alternative zu den übernachtungsmöglichkeiten in venedig selbst. 300 meter fußweg bis zum vaporetto und nach einer kurzen fahrt durch die lagune steht man auf dem markusplatz.das hotel ist ruhig und schön gelegen. freundlicher service, nur das frühstück ist sehr ".italienisch"., aber ausreichend. the lido is a lovely area and is a great base to see venice, while having a place to escape the crowds and tour groups. the hotel was very easy to find and the staff were pleasant and helpful. we loved this area. the staff was friendly and helpful. the internet had conneciton problems but they didn'.t charge us for the time we had problems. nice to be away from the hussle of the main areas. the beach was wonderful! lots of locals...not too many tourist compared to other areas. we even left our new video camara at the closest restaurant and got it back the next morning from the owner! this hotel uses the classic ".bait and switch". tactic. when we checked in we were given a filthy room that was the size of a broom closet. it was nothing like the pictures. after complaining loudly we were promised a better room the next day. we did get moved into a wonderful room with king size bed and small balcony. much better.the location is good if you want to visit the wonderful beach on lido or get away from the crush in venice. it is about 1 hour via vaperetto from the train station and 45 minutes to st. marks. this means you should plan to visit venice and murano for the whole day/evening to avoid repeated expensive trips on the boat.
