 it was a lovely property with a very nice breakfast room and great buffet. we enjoyed the area as it was close to restaurants and shopping as well as the beach. there is a much quicker way to get to the hotel by going on a side street and entering from the back side of the hotel. we had a great stay at hotel byron. we stayed there for 7 nights. transfer from the airport was very easy - walk out of the airport 7 minutes to the boat station, take the boat, then 10 minutes walk from the lido port. the staff was very helpful und kind during our stay, except for the night auditor who could not remember our room number even after one week and it seemd as if we disturbed him more than ever every time we passed by... breakfast was great for italian standards!the public beach is about 10 minutes from the hotel, great location, fine sand, excellent water. went to venice city centre twice by boat - 15 minutes - easy access. we recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to have a good stay on the adriatic coast, but nevertheless a good piece of culture nearby. thanks a lot to the attentive room maid who took care of our cuddle toys ]:o)nb. quality is what you expect from a thing .o)
